Agde.city is the digital tourism guide for Agde and Cap d'Agde in Hérault, Occitanie, France. Our mission: to provide visitors with reliable, up-to-date and geolocated information about the beaches, events, accommodation and activities of the Agde coastline.
Agde, nicknamed the Black Pearl of the Mediterranean, is a unique water city located between the Mediterranean Sea, the Hérault river and the Canal du Midi. Cap d'Agde, an internationally renowned seaside resort, welcomes millions of visitors from across Europe every summer.
Our methodology
All published information is verified from official sources: Office de Tourisme Cap d'Agde Méditerranée, Agde Town Hall, event organisers, public open data (SIRENE API, data.gouv.fr).
Where information cannot be confirmed, it is explicitly marked as "to be confirmed" or removed until validated.
Our commitment

- All GPS coordinates for beaches are field-verified.
- Bathing water quality data comes from official ARS Occitanie reports.
Who are we?
Agde.city is published by Philippe Debref, an individual entrepreneur based in Agde (Hérault). This project was born from the conviction that the territory of Agde and Cap d'Agde deserves a modern, reliable and accessible digital guide — for both residents and tourists.
The site is built with Next.js, Supabase and Prisma, hosted on OVH (France) in compliance with GDPR.
