The European Daytona
The Brescoudos Bike Week is one of the most significant motorcycle gatherings in southern France. Every year at the end of August, thousands of riders from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and all over France converge on Cap d'Agde for a week of festivities on the Mediterranean shore.
Born in the late 1980s as a small Harley-Davidson gathering in Cap d'Agde, it grew into what it is today: the European Daytona. The name honours Fort Brescou, the only volcanic island on the Hérault coast, visible from Cap d'Agde.
The general public is welcome to admire the customised bikes — parades, custom show, concerts and a warm atmosphere are open to all. Only registration for the convoy rides (8-day formula) is reserved for participating riders.
