Agde's independent painters exhibit in Le Grau d'Agde

From June to September 2026, the Independent Painters of Agde will be showcasing their work outdoors at Grau d'Agde: every Monday starting at 5:00 PM on the place des Mûriers and every Wednesday starting at 5:00 PM on the boulevard du Front de Mer. Paintings and perspectives from local artists on Agde, its coastline, and its river.

The event has the charm of seaside exhibitions: visitors stroll from easel to easel at the time when the maritime district of Agde slows down, between the beach and the terraces. The place des Mûriers, the heart of the village of Grau d'Agde, and the boulevard du Front de Mer, facing the Mediterranean, provide two different backdrops for the same walk — one on the village side, the other on the sea side. Admission is free, and the exhibition changes weekly: those spending the summer between Cap d'Agde and Grau can return several times without seeing the same painting twice.
