Dance night with the Jean Ribul orchestra

The Jean Ribul orchestra will make the Grau d'Agde dance on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 9:30 PM to 1:00 AM, at the esplanade René Paraire. An outdoor dance evening by the banks of the Hérault, in the maritime district of Agde.

The orchestra ball is a tradition of summers in the South, and Jean Ribul's is part of this great tradition: waltzes, paso doble, madisons, and danceable varieties played live until 1:00 AM. The esplanade René Paraire, by the river, provides ample space for dancing couples — and for those less experienced who dare to join in under the night sky. People come from all over Agde, the Cap d'Agde, and nearby campsites, often as regulars who meet from one ball to the next. The coolness of the nearby Hérault makes the night pleasant, even in the heart of August.
