Sardinade in Le Grau d'Agde

Sardinade on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 7:00 PM to midnight at place des Mûriers, in Grau d'Agde. Grilled sardines and a friendly atmosphere organized by the Comité des Fêtes, in the purest tradition of summer evenings in the fishing district of Agde.

The late August sardinade has a special flavor: that of the end of the season, when Grau d'Agde gradually returns to its village rhythm and the tables at place des Mûriers mix year-round residents with the last vacationers. The recipe remains unchanged — grilled sardines over an open fire, fresh bread, and well-chilled rosé — and that’s just fine. We eat outdoors, in the heart of the fishing village, just a few streets from the mouth of l'Hérault where the boats return. For those discovering the tradition, a third sardinade will conclude the series on September 11, same place, same spirit.
