Grau d'Agde (1805) · La Tamarissière (1903) · Mouth of the Hérault
Two lighthouses guard the mouth of the River Hérault into the Mediterranean. The Grau d'Agde east jetty lighthouse dates from 1805. Opposite, on the La Tamarissière shore, a second lighthouse was inaugurated on 25 April 1903. Both are popular destinations for coastal walks.

Grau d'Agde: 3 km south-east of Agde, accessible by car or bike from Cap d'Agde
La Tamarissière: left bank of the Hérault, ferry from Grau d'Agde or road via Agde (~8 km)
Jetties: freely accessible on foot from the Grau d'Agde car park
