Weekend Programme
Day 1 — Old Town and Heritage
Old town of Agde: Château Laurens, Round Lock, black basalt lanes.
Lunch in Agde town centre. Languedoc cuisine.
Round Lock of the Canal du Midi: walk under the plane trees.
Agathois Museum: local history since 1935.
Dinner at the harbour of Cap d'Agde.
Day 2 — Beaches and Sea
Grande Conque beach: black volcanic sand, swimming at the foot of 21 m cliffs.
Picnic or restaurant at the harbour quays.
Water sports from the harbour: sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding or cycle to the lighthouses.
Walk along the quays, ice cream, last swim at Môle beach.
